Introducing Mama Thai [Jirayu ], a professional cooking instructor with a passion for Thai cuisine and a dedication to sharing the flavors and culture of Thailand with the world. Born and raised in Phetchaburi, Thailand, cooking has been a lifelong passion for Mama Thai.
From a young age, Jirayu's learned the art of cooking from her mother, creating authentic Thai meals using ingredients sourced from their own backyard. These early experiences instilled a deep appreciation for the flavors and techniques unique to Thai cuisine.
After moving to Bangkok, Jirayu's further honed her culinary skills, working in restaurants and mastering the art of Thai street food. The love for cooking grew stronger, leading Jirayu to take their expertise beyond Thailand's borders.
Upon arriving in San Francisco,after worked in aome different jobs Jirayu decided to pursued her dream of sharing Thai food and culture by studying and becoming a certified culinary cooking instructor and food safety professional. Since 2003, she has been running a successful cooking school in San Francisco, enlightening students about the intricacies of Thai cuisine.
Driven by a desire to improve the culinary experience, Mama Thai embarked on a journey to incorporate holistic health principles into their cooking. Becoming a certified holistic health coach, seamlessly integrates holistic health practices and ingredients to create healthier versions of traditional Thai dishes, ensuring both flavor and well-being.
